Selene and I have taken a lot of memorable vacations, but the one that sticks out the most in my mind right now is probably our trip to New York in 2021.

It was kind of an impromptu honeymoon, which made it all the more spectacular. We did a lot of stereotypical and touristy things, you know? But it was a lot of fun. We visited Empire State, saw the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, walked through Time Square, crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, toured the MET museum, and tons of other things.

We even took a little carriage ride through Central Park. And obviously we got pizza. It’s not NY unless pizza is involved.
There’s always so much to do in New York. You can never do it all on one trip. Not to worry… we’ve been back since then! And I know we’ll be back again in the future.
Good morning and happy Monday, friends! And happy July!
On Monday, we had our astrology readings with Joseph and they were amazing. At some point soon, I’m going to need a good set of colored pencils! I’m going to print out and decorate my chart… and then we’ll use it for a bit of magick. Seriously though, there was way more information presented in the reading than my brain could handle in 30 minutes.
This past week, I finally finished Season 2, Episode 2 featuring Alexander Cabot, so all of that is up and streaming on YouTube. I’ll have the written version done soon, hopefully later this week, for all of those who wish to read.
I also made a quick post on Spiritual Bath Bombs… just in case your baths have been too boring recently!
Outside of that, most of the week was spent writing, revising, reading, rereading, and rewriting. I’m trying to finish up the first half of my book so I can send it on over to Crossed Crow, but I’ve got a couple sections that are being a little difficult — I’m not quite happy enough with them yet, but I’m sure another couple of passes will take care of that.
On Friday evening, we attended a misa. It was such a beautiful night.

Tons of spirits came through to say hello! We sang, talked, laughed, and just in general had a great time. And all of these festivities were followed by some delicious food.
In mundane news, Selene and I binged Dark Matter recently — the 2024 show from Apple TV, not the 2015 SciFi show with the exact same name. It was fascinating. I’m really loving the fairly recent trend where TV shows and movies are more intelligently exploring alternate realities and the multiverse. Now that we’re done, we’ve been searching for something else to watch. For some reason, we settled on 24. That should keep us busy for a while.
Anyway, that’s all for now! Expect more coming soon and stay tuned.
Cheers!
