Gratitude jars are something we usually make around Autumn Equinox. Honestly though, any “harvest” themed time of year is always a good reason to reflect on being grateful.
I think this is a pretty bad prompt question, but it is appropriate since Lughnasadh just passed. Also, making of list of 30 of anything is kind of an excessive task.
Nevertheless, buckle up… because here we go. This will serve as a digital gratitude jar.
- My wife
- My family
- Our cats
- Our spiritual family
- Owning a house
- Having food to eat
- Living near the ocean
- Music (mentioned this yesterday)
- Writing
- This laptop, upon which I am writing
- Finding a publisher
- Watching movies
- Star Trek (it gets its own mention)
- People that comment on my posts (perhaps vain, but true)
- Books
- Festivals
- Finding random witchy, crystal, or herb shops
- Living within short driving distance of some really great restaurants
- Ice cream
- Laying in the sun
- Moments on long drives where my mind kicks into super creative mode
- Making things with my hands
- Watching YouTube videos on topics that really interest me, like audio production
- Soft blankets
- Amazon Prime same-day delivery (which is just ridiculous)
- Cheesecake
- Pizza
- Technology
- Squirrels, ducks, and other random wildlife that I encounter and regularly talk to
- Plants
Well, that wasn’t too hard. I actually probably could have kept going for a while, but I’ve completed this assignment. If you made it through my entire list, congratulations.
