Gratitude jars are something we usually make around Autumn Equinox. Honestly though, any “harvest” themed time of year is always a good reason to reflect on being grateful.

I think this is a pretty bad prompt question, but it is appropriate since Lughnasadh just passed. Also, making of list of 30 of anything is kind of an excessive task.

Nevertheless, buckle up… because here we go. This will serve as a digital gratitude jar.

  1. My wife
  2. My family
  3. Our cats
  4. Our spiritual family
  5. Owning a house
  6. Having food to eat
  7. Living near the ocean
  8. Music (mentioned this yesterday)
  9. Writing
  10. This laptop, upon which I am writing
  11. Finding a publisher
  12. Watching movies
  13. Star Trek (it gets its own mention)
  14. People that comment on my posts (perhaps vain, but true)
  15. Books
  16. Festivals
  17. Finding random witchy, crystal, or herb shops
  18. Living within short driving distance of some really great restaurants
  19. Ice cream
  20. Laying in the sun
  21. Moments on long drives where my mind kicks into super creative mode
  22. Making things with my hands
  23. Watching YouTube videos on topics that really interest me, like audio production
  24. Soft blankets
  25. Amazon Prime same-day delivery (which is just ridiculous)
  26. Cheesecake
  27. Pizza
  28. Technology
  29. Squirrels, ducks, and other random wildlife that I encounter and regularly talk to
  30. Plants

Well, that wasn’t too hard. I actually probably could have kept going for a while, but I’ve completed this assignment. If you made it through my entire list, congratulations.
