Associate is a weird word, but I do have preferences…

I guess for music and audio, I have some preferred brands.

I’m not sure why you would want to know this information, but it is an excuse to talk about gear, which is always fun… so here they are:

• Headphones – Beyerdynamic
• Acoustic Guitars – Martin
• Electric Guitars – Fender
• Amps – Fender
• DAW – Ableton
• Plugins – Waves
• Live Microphones – Shure

That’s a good start. I don’t get caught up in those brand names because of marketing or because they’re stylish and popular. I use them for the simple reason that over the years, they’ve worked well for me.

Clothing brands? Don’t care. Shoes? Don’t care.
