Don’t get me wrong — I’ve had productive mornings before, but I never feel particularly productive in the morning. Right now, in fact, as I write this, it’s morning. And the words seem to be coming at about half their usual speed.
For creative endeavors, I’ve always gotten into the best flows during the evening. There is something about night, darkness, or moonlight that feel so conducive to music. Maybe it adds to a feeling or mystery or something — I haven’t quite figured that out.
Of course, that isn’t always practical. Most of the world isn’t on that schedule and plenty of regular responsibilities have to be accomplished during the daytime. But even if I don’t have time to actually play or record in the evenings, I can tell you that I spend many nights arranging songs in my head as I fall asleep.
Good morning and happy Monday, friends!
Goodness, I hope you aren’t tired of hearing from me. It’s certainly been a packed week and this was my first time ever posting a video every day.
Yeah, you read that right. Every. Single. Day.
I’ve been working hard to promote my new class series. And in fact, most of the days I posted two little promo videos.
All that hard work has been worth it! Yesterday I was delighted to send out some confirmation emails to folks who signed up early and took advantage of the introductory sale pricing. Even though the sale is over, you are still highly encouraged to sign up! I’d love to have you join me.

Friday night was coven night. And it was a busy evening! We had dedications, a blessing, and a couple of other works of magick that needed attending. You will be hard-pressed to ever find another coven that has had so many pregnancies in such a short number of years. I know that’s a weird thing to say, but that’s just how it is. We’re so used to it happening that Selene has developed a ritual for blessing the expectant mother. And it’s beautiful!

It was also our Beltane celebration, so we enjoyed some May Wine. And for the non-drinkers, like me, we had a non-alcoholic version that used a bottle of sparkling white grape juice — it turned out to be surprisingly delicious.
On Saturday, we attended a misa. It was nice to get together with some of our spiritual family and tend to some spirits.
And on Sunday… we tried to relax a little bit. We went to the farmer’s market earlier in the day, got some smoothies, and caught some cool music.

The band that is playing in the above picture is called KillBillies. And they sounded fantastic!
In other random news, our giant road friend has returned and now lives in front of our house.

Over the last week, I resurrected my PS4. It’s been gathering dust on a shelf for the past… 5 or 6 years? But Selene and I wanted to try to play The Last of Us. And for some reason, the game is free. I can’t figure out why. So far I’ve only died like 50 times.
Anyway, that’s all for now. But I’ve got a bunch more things that I’m working on! So stay tuned for more soon!
