It’s not really fair to make someone choose between animals, but if I must… then I will always pick cats over dogs.
I joke with Selene that we are becoming more catlike as time goes on. I’ll frequently send her terrible selfies of me with our cats throughout the day as they jump up on my lap and demand attention.

I try to match their facial expressions each time.
Nailed it?
Dogs are great and all. I love dogs. But seriously, cats are better.
Good morning and happy Monday, friends!
It’s been a fun and packed week, filled with tons of magick and music. Here’s what’s new:
- New Book Review: Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Ceremonial Magick
- New Blog Post: Highlights from Jason Mankey’s Episode
I made a big batch of ritual incense.

If you’re curious to learn more, it’s the latest addition to our Etsy shop.
I had some more fun with tuning forks, as you can see by this short video.
We encountered not one, but two new families of ducks filled with ducklings. At the same time! At one point, there were like 30 ducks running around us. Spending time with our neighborhood animals always puts a smile on my face.
On Friday night, Selene and I went to a concert at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre. It was New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World, and The Offspring.

It was the first show of their newest tour and honestly, there were great performances almost all around. I think I was most excited to see Jimmy Eat World… and they played pretty much every song I would have hoped to hear them play (Big Casino, Pain, etc). The Offspring played a piano version of Gone Away that I hadn’t heard before — it was just so different from everything else in their set. I really liked it.
Saturday night was coven night. We did a short class on sigils and then had a ritual to activate them.

And on Sunday, we tried to take a bit of a lazy day to recoup from all the running around… went out for an early dinner at a local seafood place. Seafood is not my thing, so I got a pork bowl.

Also on Sunday, I caught a cool livestream of Foolish Fish and Sara Mastros on Sunday. It was an app launch for Fool’s Dog Tarot, which let’s you do digital tarot readings. Looked pretty neat and Sara demonstrated with a couple of live readings.
Coming up over the next couple of weeks, there will be another livestream rune class with Christiana Gaudet.
And the next class in The Witch’s Toolkit series is this weekend!
Don’t miss out. Here’s what’s coming up…

There’s still time to sign up if you’re interested — this one will be about fluid condensers.
Well, it feels like an extra slow day and this small number of words has already taken me far too long to type, so I think that’s all for now. But don’t worry, there’s always more coming soon… so stay tuned!
