Cats are obviously the best pet.
When you win the affection of a cat, you have become a god.
I’m not really sure what qualifies as the worst type of pet because I have an obnoxious adoration of all animals. If we look at it purely in terms of interactions, however, then fish are probably the strangest. Our environments are just too different.
I’ve never seen a goldfish nuzzle anyone. Have you?
Note: Fans of dogs need not reply to my opening statement. I’m not saying that I don’t like dogs. I do! It’s just that cats are better. And no matter how much you love dogs, you still know that I’m right.
Good morning and happy Monday, friends!
- New Post: Writing is Basically Alchemy
Last week, my book officially started shipping from Crossed Crow. And today, it’s been released on Amazon. Have you gotten a copy yet?

I’m obviously pretty excited about it, so I wrote a short post about how writing is alchemy. If you are reading and enjoying the book, then it would be awesome if you also leave a review somewhere. Help me raise it up from the depths of obscurity.
Over the weekend, Selene and I went to one of those classes where they give you step-by-step instructions on how to paint.

And we attempted to paint some sort of sunset-colored, moonlit sky over mountains.

For it being one of our first times attempting such a thing, I think we did a pretty great job. Honestly, I felt a little lost during certain parts, especially when we were blending, but hey… there’s actually some sort of a gradient in my painting, so… success?
Regardless, it was fun.

We also got some munchies. Egg salad on a croissant? Yes please, I’ll try that.
I am currently uploading a new episode of M3 to Patreon as an early release for supporters. It features Amber Rae. It’ll be up as soon as Patreon stops throttling my transfer speeds—at the moment, it’s looking like it’ll take a couple of hours, but it keeps hitting 10% and then kicking me out. I’ll keep at it!
This month is pretty much the last push before my semester is over, so I’m off to go do some homework!
Don’t worry, more is coming soon. Stay tuned!
