Okay, picture this: you’re about to stay in a hotel for a week. You need to bring just enough things to stay comfortable, but not too many so that you’re bogged down with luggage.
Most of us have probably been in this type of situation, right?
Let’s assume that the hotel is reasonably nice. It has comfy pillows and blankets — you don’t need to pack those. There are also soft towels and robes in the closet — you don’t need to pack those, either.
Aside from clothes, some basic electronics, chargers, and maybe a book or two… what’s one thing that you’d want to make sure you’ve got with you?
Selene and I have been in quite a few hotels over the past year… and if we can swing it, we’ve been bringing our Nespresso machine.

It looks pretty much like the image above. It isn’t terribly large… maybe 12” long. It only weighs a few pounds.
But it provides one of the much needed “comforts of home.” Hotel coffee just doesn’t cut it. And since I’m back in a phase of drinking coffee every morning, it’s really nice to have.
What would you bring?
Good morning and happy Monday, friends!
I didn’t realize that I made three new book reviews this past week, but apparently I did:
If you ever have a request — that is, a book you would like me to review, feel free to let me know. But barring that, I’ve got plenty to go through… our shelves have overflowed into multiple piles of books around the house.
I also wrote a new post, titled: The Inner Light and Butterfly Dreams: Star Trek’s Ties to the Beatles and Chinese Philosophy. With a title like that, how could you not want to read it? I went really deep with this. I may have said before that I am a big fan of the spirituality found within science fiction, especially Star Trek. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
I got a new set of tuning forks.

They are really cool and color-coordinated for each chakra. You can expect some videos on this coming up soon!
I’m also working on some rune videos.
The past week was obviously July 4th weekend. So we did some mini fireworks at home.

The best fireworks that money can buy… in Florida… at Walmart… at the very last minute… for under $20. Like I said, the very best.
They were underwhelming.
But you know what wasn’t underwhelming? The food we made the next day! We had a little cookout in the back yard with chicken, burgers, and hotdogs. It was very carnivorous.

Aside from all that stuff, I’ve been working on a lot of side projects. It is taking up a significant amount of time, but hopefully it will all be worth it soon!
And don’t forget — the next class in The Witch’s Toolkit series is coming up in a couple of weeks. You can still sign up… and you can even get access to the previous class — it was recorded!

Well… I think that’s all for now… but stay tuned for more soon!
