Judging from my search history, the last question I needed an answer for was “do dried peppers actually ever go bad?”
Well, do they?
Apparently not. As long as there’s no mold, they will just lose some of their potency over time.
Selene and the kids made some amazingly delicious birria tacos over the weekend.
Don’t they look delicious?
The recipe called for a selection of dried peppers, of which we had a few bags tucked away in the pantry. But from when? That was unclear. Hence the question.
But yes, they were surely delicious.

As of midnight last night, I am officially a Panther. My classes have begun! I obviously chose my venue of higher learning due to the fact that its mascot matched my spirit animal.
(That is a joke. I feel that I must clarify. I selected this particular institution because it is close by and cheap.)
All morning, I’ve been engaged with syllabi and introduction videos. So far, I have learned very helpful things like:
- How to avoid “txt spk” in formal writing, lol oMg
- That swear words and insults may be offensive to some
loserspeople - How to write an email, Sincerely, Aerik
- The importance of a weekly schedule
- How to install Office 365
- That it’s okay to ask for help
Considering the fact that I already knew all of those things, I think I’ve definitely got a leg up. Yes, friends, you heard correctly — all of them. Thus, college should be a breeze.

The rest of this past week was pretty uneventful. I have a few things I’m working on, but they aren’t ready to share yet.
