How many tabs do you have open right in your browser?

That’s a real question. I’m not being rhetorical. I’m genuinely curious.

I just counted mine. I have 398 tabs open across 10 different windows of Google Chrome. That’s just from one profile, though. I’m not including tabs from the other 3 email accounts I’m currently logged into (which have their own, slightly lesser numbers of tabs).

Do I have a problem?

I write a lot. As a result, I do a lot of research. I like to compare multiple sources.

One of my favorite websites of all time is archive.org. It has more books than I could ever read in multiple lifetimes. And they’re all free. And some of them are very old.

For instance? Here’s a first edition Encyclopedia Britanica from 1771. Or one of Waite’s books from 1893. Or The Epistles of Jacob Boehme from 1886.

Yeah. I dig the old stuff. I think archive.org is responsible for about half of my browser tabs at any given moment. It’s the digital equivalent of being surrounded by hundreds books that are all open to a specific page and stacked up on top of each other. It might be lacking the smell of a real library, but it does have one added benefit: keyword searching.

What are your favorite websites?

Good morning and happy Monday, friends.

It’s been another busy week! I managed to finally finish a new episode of M3 and write a new article, so there were some accomplishments.

The end of October is pretty crazy for everyone. We’ll most likely be heading to Silver Springs, FL for at least one day this weekend so that we can briefly attend FPG Samhaim.

We decided to have our coven Samhain ritual a little early, so that took place on Saturday night.

We built a beautiful ancestor altar beside the main altar. It was covered in pictures, flowers, and offerings. And we did a little bit of divination.

We’re also prepping for family pumpkin carving that will take place later this week. I haven’t quite decided what I’ll be making, but I’ll keep you updated!

And I met a puppy who broke out of his cage.

Look at those eyes!

Aside from writing, the week was filled with a bunch of mundane tasks… like running errands and grocery shopping. And homework.

But Selene and I did steal ourselves away for some quick bites of food. On Friday evening we went out for some Peruvian food.

And on Saturday afternoon, a quick little Thai snack!

That’s all for now! You can look out for the written highlights coming for the newest M3 episode later this week. Other than that, stay tuned for more soon!
