I’m not sure if I really exhibit any traits that are particularly catlike, but I can see some clear advantages to being a house cat. You’d always know the comfiest spots. You wouldn’t have any financial responsibilities. Basic necessities are provided for you. And you get lots of naps.
I mean, look at this guy.

You’ll never be cozier than a cat wedged between two cushions or under a blanket.
And that’s why Selene and I have vowed to come back as cats—for at least one future life. Take a break from all this human stuff.
Good morning and happy Monday, friends! And happy start to March!
The crazy weeks continue. Things have still not been very kind to our vehicles. Remember the flat tire from my last update? Well, this past week we had to change brakes and rotors on our other car. Oh well, at least it’s done.
Maybe it’s Mercury retrograde? Maybe I should burn some incense.
I’ve made a rough cut of Kirk White’s episode, which is currently up on Patreon. I also filmed an interview with Amber Rae. You can meet both of them in person at Summer Magick Fest later this year!
Every other waking hour has basically been spent either writing or working on schoolwork.
Our wedding anniversary is this weekend! Officially 5 years of marriage—as long as you’re counting from our public ceremony date and not our courthouse date or our handfasting date, in which case it’d be longer 🙂
Botanica Obscura is also this weekend. You can come see my workshop on plants and music.
This month is going to be pretty crazy for books. Fluid Condensers is released at the end of the month. And my next manuscript is due on the same date. Jeez!
I tried raspberry cold foam earlier this week.

I can tell you, irrefutably, that the strawberry cold foam is better.
Selene and I had some witchy stuff to take care of this weekend, so we went for a bit of a drive and did it. On our way back home on Sunday, we stopped at a place called Taco Dive. It was quite enjoyable!

For dinner, we tried Mongolian stir fry. I’m not going to show you a picture of it because my food looked like total trash. I was not a fan. Everyone else liked it though!
Oh, but a joyous announcement! Our friend, the mama duck, has brought a new batch of babies to come and meet us. By my count, there are currently fifteen ducklings.
That’s a lotta ducks, man.
Anyway, I must return to my work. Big things are coming! Stay tuned for more soon.
