I’m sure I have a somewhat typical answer to this question, but if I could watch any movie over again for the first time, it would probably be Fight Club.

I watched it as a kid—probably younger than I really should have. The ending took me by complete surprise… in fact, I don’t think I really understood what had happened the first time through. I’ve seen it dozens of times now and even read the book.

And I’m always up for a rewatch.

But I’ve grown pretty good at calling twists in movies. If I was watching it again, I’m curious if I would have seen it coming.

I mean, there are some pretty obvious signs.

Daily writing prompt
If you could erase one movie from your memory and watch it again for the first time, which one would it be?

Good morning and happy Monday, friends.

I don’t know how to write this. I’ve tried twice and I keep winding up with an angsty wall of text. Instead, I’ve opted for bullet points. Here’s the highlights of the week:

  • Car was stolen, then destroyed while being used as a getaway vehicle after the thief robbed a Home Depot

Oh, I guess it was just one bullet point, but that single line was enough to really throw a wrench in our week.

Had a bin of holiday decorations in the back… that’s our Christmas ribbon flying out the broken side window.

Between police reports and insurance claims, I did finish a pretty cool video. You should go watch it. I linked it at the top.

And that’s all I want to say this week.
