A single drop of life
And then thousands
Millions of tiny passengers
Exit their celestial vehicle
You make me late
You cause others
to forget
how to drive
And for you
You alone
Will I cancel my outdoor plans
All of them
Every
Single
One
I walk on damp and soggy earth
I kick off my shoes
Splash in puddles
like a child
My jacket is wet
And I never seem to own an umbrella
Yeah, so Selene and I take an evening walk after dinner pretty much every day. We take a lap around the neighborhood, play with squirrels, feed ducks, and pet random cats. Unless it’s raining, of course.
And it’s been raining a lot recently — pretty much every day. It’s kind of getting to be a bit of a bummer. I think even my plants are starting to protest.
