If money didn’t matter, there are definitely three things that I would focus on. First, I’d dedicate some effort to writing a book. Second, I’d concentrate a bit on recording some of my music and performing live. And third, I’d dedicate time to teaching the Craft as I understand it however I could… maybe even including submitting workshops to festivals so I could try to reach new people. And in between all of that, I’d probably make YouTube videos and blog posts all the time… while possibly volunteering at a local prison.
All of that seems really time consuming. But yeah, you can’t really make good money as a writer or a musician. And certainly not as a teacher. So… it’s a good thing this is all hypothetical isn’t it?
Wait… wait…
I am writing a book. And I do perform. And I do teach… and…
Wow. I really went for the trifecta of penniless pursuits, didn’t I?
Oh well. Money doesn’t matter that much.
