I think if you’re traveling cross-country, there’s only one way to do it…

Yep! RV.

Cars are too cramped. Busses don’t give you enough control over where you stop. Trains are just weird. And planes are… well, they completely bypass the whole “cross-country” thing.

If I’m going to spend the time and effort going on a cross-country trip, then I want to be able to decide where and when I go places. I want to see things along the way. And I want to be reasonably comfortable doing it.

So… I have this little fantasy…

Selene and I pack up an adequate amount of clothes and supplies into an RV, then we head off on a long drive for an ambiguously unrestricted amount of time.

We’ve occasionally mused about the idea… Maybe it will be a possibility one day.

You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?

Good morning and happy Monday, friends.

Last week, I was able to have a chat with Roger Coleman, one of the creators of Florida Pagan Gathering (FPG). FPG is having a 30th anniversary celebration in April and I will be editing some of this interview footage into something they can play during their opening ceremony. His story is a pretty interesting one, so I might make a public video about this as well… but in a couple days, I’ll also be posting the unedited interview on Patreon if anyone wants to watch.

Speaking of things on Patreon, I did post the interview with Josh Yates as an early subscriber benefit.

And I posted the written highlights from Ellen Evert Hopman’s episode and the video for Emily Guenther’s episode. So much posting going on!

I was able to finish up a couple of projects. First, the Greek Alphabet Oracle set that I started about a week ago is finally done! And it has since been delivered to its new owner. Here’s a picture of it after a coat of polyurethane.

You can check out the short reel I made on instagram because it shows them off a little better.

I also made some Wiccan-themed prayer beads. I’ve noticed that when we do group chants in ritual, I have a lot of trouble keeping track of how many repetitions we’ve done. This set of beads has delineations for common witchy numbers like 7 and 9.

Also I think they look really cool. They’re made out of black jasper and rose quartz.

The next batch of Kyphi has made some slight progress. I flipped the dough over so that the other side can dry. Soon, I’ll be rolling it into a hundred little balls.

Oh Friday night, we had coven class and ritual. We did a fun astrology activity and practiced some scrying in a giant dark mirror.

Phoenix is this weekend and we’re super excited! There’s going to be a lot of awesome rituals and cool workshops… plus I’ve got a concert! For the rest of the week, I’m going to be practicing.

In mundane news, after several years, I have finally been properly initiated into South Florida culture. We went to Flanigan’s and I was given this special cup to keep with me as a token.

That’s all for now, but stay tuned for more soon!

  1. I went to word press and it didn’t have anywhere that I could unsubscribe, the only option word press had for me was unsub from all on word press, that is not an option for me. So please manually take me off your mailing list, thank you.

    2. I’m not sure if you used a different email or something, but no one under the name “Gaia Spirit” is in my mailing list database. Also wordpress shows that you don’t even have a profile. There’s an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email I send out.
