I don’t think I’d personally bring any dinosaurs back. Haven’t you guys seen Jurassic Park?

And while I currently can’t even say that I have a favorite dinosaur, I was pretty obsessed with Littlefoot from The Land Before Time when I was a kid.

I probably watched that movie a hundred times — the cumulative result of which has had deep ramifications in my adult life. For starters, our WiFi network has been called “The LAN Before Time” for years… and will continue to be called that for the foreseeable future.

Okay, that’s probably the only effect.

Littlefoot was an Apatosaurus if you’re curious, but that’s too difficult for kids to say, so the movie just called them “Longnecks.” It took me a few years to understand that the Brachiosaurus in Jurassic Park was not also called a Longneck, as I ignorantly assumed that all dinosaurs with similar appearances would have shared that equally simple name.

How embarrassing.

If you could bring back one dinosaur, which one would it be?

Good morning and happy Monday, friends!

We’re in Texas.

A Curious Eye in the Middle of Dallas…

We’re here for my little sister’s wedding — and somehow I’ve been talked into playing some music for the event. That’ll all be taking place later today.

For now, allow me to share some of the wonderful Texan sights that we have encountered so far.

We did stop by the Perot Museum, which was mostly okay.

And we found a surprisingly good Thai restaurant.

PSA: An affogato is delicious regardless of what state you’re in.

Finally, here’s the view from the top of our hotel.

This past week I was able to finish Kamden Cornell’s episode and article, as well as another book review. Those are all linked above at the top of this post.

We got completely bought out of Ritual Incense the other day, which is awesome… so as soon as I get back, I’m going to have to make a big batch to restock our Etsy store.

Christiana Gaudet and I had another fun episode of Wyrd Wednesday. We’re going to skip the month of August, but we’ll return in September. If you’re craving some additional rune talk next month, don’t worry… my final class in The Witch’s Toolkit series is on intuitive divination with… you guessed it… RUNES!

Don’t miss out. Here’s what’s coming up…

As we’re on this trip, I’ve been digging into a couple of new books.

You’ll definitely be hearing more about those soon!

Other than all of that, and some further progress on various videos that I’ve been working on, I don’t think I have much else to report.

So here’s a picture of Loki to tie everything together.

That’s all for now, but stay tuned for more soon!
