I don’t really have a favorite word, but since I write more than the average person, I’ve been really curious as to whether or not there are any words I’m overusing.
I’m aware that words like “actually” and “basically” come out quite frequently in the articles that I write. I usually catch them during the proofing stage and then just delete them entirely. Basically I do that because they usually end up being filler words. You actually don’t always need them.
But just for fun, I threw a word cloud generator into my book manuscript. You know what it came up with? “Gold” and “Alchemy.”
Go figure.

It’s been another… week. I won’t say good. I won’t say bad. Just a week. So I wrote about something fun and on the lighter side of things… Elderberry Syrup! Best you get prepared now and keep a jar in your fridge!
I skipped a book review. And yes, I’m behind on several things because school is dominating most of my time. I have so much homework!
It feels weird saying “I have homework” as an adult. And it’s compounded by the fact that some of my assignments are just downright juvenile. Last week, for instance, I had to create a poster. It made me feel like I was in elementary school.
Anyhow…
Friday night was coven night. We made some fun bracelets. They’re magickal bracelets, okay?
Kyphi orders keep coming in… so we keep shipping them! Pretty soon, we’re going to have to make another big batch.
Now that you’ve made it through all of the above, I do have something more interesting to share. I am going to be writing a piece for Crossed Crow’s new anthology on divination! I’ll keep the exact topic under wraps for now, but know that it’s coming!
I’ve been seriously slacking on my video editing. I’ve gotta get another episode of M3 out soon, but we’ve got a huge weekend coming up… so hopefully I’ll be able to squeeze something out in the near future.
