If you don’t make a frequent habit of questioning your own reality, then honestly… what are you doing with yourself?
Dreams, visions, meditations, spiritual reflections… these can all shake up our perception or even blur the lines of what’s real, but I think the most poignant moments for me center around deja vu.
And I don’t mean your average, run-of-the-mill, “oh-this-seems-vaguely-familiar” type of deja vu, where you brush it off and everything goes right back to normal. I’m talking about a completely encompassing moment, as if you were pulled out of linear time and given a clear view of what has been and what will be—you know, for like… a split second.
I’ve had a few of those.
Good morning and happy Monday, friends!
Hope you’re all enjoying your Memorial Day. We’ll be celebrating by doing nothing.
But while we’re doing nothing, you can do something… and check out some of this cool, new stuff:
- New M3 Episode: Christopher Penczak and The Goddess of the Cauldron
- New Post: Highlights of Amber Rae’s interview
I also got some fresh books from Crossed Crow.

- Crow’s Collection Anthology of World Magic
- Introduction to Witchcraft by Sara Mastros
- On Pins and Needles by Kamden Cornell
I’m really excited to dive into them all. And trust me, you’ll be hearing more about them soon.
Selene and I are in the middle of our Summer Semester… but we did take a little trip to grab a drink and some fries…

I had a fun mocktail to complement her cocktail.
Still, a significant portion of this past week was spent at police stations or on the phone with insurance companies… trying to resolve our stolen car settlement.
I decided to hang our sweet grass braid back up over the door. It had been in a box for years… but I think we could use a little extra sweetness right now!

How do you guys ward, shield, or bless your thresholds?
A few days ago, I released a second interview with Christopher Penczak. If you didn’t already click the link at the top of this update, then go ahead and click this picture…

It was such a fantastic conversation! And that wraps up my coverage of Summer Magick headliners this year… can’t wait to meet everyone in person in just a few weeks!
In other news, Selene and I watched Project Hail Mary over the weekend. I’ve seen some rather mixed reviews… but we really enjoyed it! I mean, who can hate on a movie with Ryan Gosling and a space rock?
That’s all for today, friends. Stay tuned for more soon.
