For the longest time, I hated tomatoes. I mean, I absolutely detested them. If I ever saw any little red bits swimming around my food, I would pick them out or push them off to the side.
Until one day, perhaps in my 20’s, I accidentally bit into one. I thought, “hmm… maybe I don’t hate this.”
And now, I actually eat cherry tomatoes every day. It’s one of my favorite snacks.
There you have it! That’s my enthralling story about tomatoes. Probably had you on the edge of your seat there for at least a sentence or two.
But do you know what’s never going to change? How much I hate olives.

The first week post Summer Magick Fest felt really draggy. I did, however, do quite a bit of talking. Went back on The Occult Rejects for a fun discussion on music. Also had a great chat with Heron Michelle, which will become a new M3 episode soon—maybe like… as a July release.
For Summer Solstice, I grabbed three sun-themed Tarot cards. It’s always fun to compare different designs, isn’t it? I’ll be really, truly, deeply surprised if anyone can name all three decks without cheating.

Yes, we escaped. With three whole minutes to spare. Unless… what if we’re still in there?
On Sunday, Selene and I stopped by the beach.
It was really freakin hot. Luckily, we weren’t there for sunbathing. We wanted to check out Dune Deck Cafe, which is a restaurant overlooking Lantana beach. Since it was Father’s Day, it was packed. We found the best shade we could and eventually got in for some food.
And then after that, we tried a new Italian restaurant for dinner.

I want to share all of my Summer Magick Fest memories with you, but I’m honestly not sure how useful I’ll be this week. We’re going to be traveling for half of it, then our weekend is booked. I basically have… today and tomorrow to accomplish things. We shall see!
